Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp (deveined)
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 rounded tablespoon sweet or smoked paprika
- 1/2–1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 6 tablespoons cold salted butter (cubed)
- 8–12 large cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- Juice from 1–2 lemons
- Chili sauce (for serving)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or avocado oil mayo
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne and/or Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and toss with flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the shrimp until pink (about 2 minutes per side) then set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until golden brown. Return shrimp to the skillet and combine well.
- Squeeze in lemon juice before serving.
