- 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in heavy cream, beef broth, ketchup, and mustard; let simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix in both cheeses until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
