  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 11×7 baking pan with foil or spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix finely chopped apples with brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, sugar, and dark brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and cinnamon. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in the apple mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  6. For the glaze, combine maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl until smooth.
  7. Let blondies cool before drizzling with glaze.
