- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin pan.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix gently until combined.
- Fill each muffin cup with the meat mixture, pressing lightly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for the glaze. Spoon over each muffin.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F/71°C). Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
