- 1 ½ pounds sirloin (cubed)
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 tub sour cream
- 1 pack cotija cheese
- 1 jar guacamole
- 1 jar salsa
- 1 jar pickled red onions
- Chopped cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the steak by patting it dry and cutting it into cubes. Mix spices with salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate the steak by tossing it with vegetable oil and spice rub. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes.
- Cook the steak in a preheated cast iron skillet for about 3–5 minutes until browned but juicy.
- Assemble tacos by piling cooked steak onto tortillas and adding desired toppings.
