Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 16.9-ounce bag mini M&Ms (divided)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter with the sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in vanilla extract. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips and one cup of mini M&Ms.
- Scoop small balls of dough and press additional M&Ms into each ball. Place on prepared baking sheets with space between.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden on the bottoms; cool briefly before transferring to wire racks.
