Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for searing)
Instructions
- Optional: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Sear the chicken breasts for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
- Place the seared or raw chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours until the chicken shreds easily with a fork.
- Serve topped with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped parsley alongside rice or mashed potatoes.
