- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions
- Pat cod fillets dry, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear the cod for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown; remove from skillet.
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chicken or vegetable broth; bring to a simmer while scraping browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream and allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Return cod to the skillet, spooning sauce over each fillet; heat through for an additional 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
