  • 8 ounces dark chocolate
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 4 large egg whites

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the pie dish and bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Melt dark chocolate over simmering water; pour over cooled crust and chill for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form; set aside.
  5. In a clean bowl, mix peanut butter, cream cheese, milk, and vanilla until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar.
  6. Fold half the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture; then fold in remaining cream.
  7. Spoon filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top; refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  8. Prepare meringue by boiling sugar, water, and corn syrup; whip egg whites separately until soft peaks form, then slowly add syrup.
  9. Spread meringue on top of the pie and torch if desired.
  10. Serve immediately.
