Ingredients

  • 2 pizza doughs
  • 300g mozzarella
  • 40g butter
  • 1/2 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cut mozzarella into chunks and set aside.
  3. Slice each pizza dough into strips and then into squares.
  4. Place mozzarella in each square, close the dough around it, and roll into balls.
  5. Arrange the balls on a baking sheet in a tree shape: start with six at the base, reducing by one per row.
  6. Prepare egg wash by mixing egg yolk with water; brush over each ball.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Melt butter, add minced garlic and chopped parsley; mix well.
  9. Brush baked sapin de Noël with garlic butter and serve warm.
