Ingredients
- 2 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak or boneless beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp cornstarch
- 12 oz frozen broccoli florets
Instructions
- Place the sliced beef in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together beef stock, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and stir gently.
- Cover and cook on low for about 5.5 hours until the beef is tender.
- Mix cornstarch with water until smooth; stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes along with frozen broccoli.
- Serve over cooked white rice if desired.
