Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Set up your breading station: one bowl with flour, another with beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard, and a third with crushed pretzels.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally press into crushed pretzels until evenly coated.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by warming milk in a saucepan and gradually adding shredded cheddar until melted; mix in Dijon mustard and season to taste.
