Ingredients
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2–4 very ripe bananas
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Mash the ripe bananas and mix them into the butter-sugar blend.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
- Add baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour; mix until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
