- 1 lb turkey sausage, sliced
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt (more to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra flavor)
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Slice the turkey sausage into rounds.
- Peel and dice the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- Chop the cabbage, slice the onion, and mince the garlic.
- Add all prepared ingredients into your slow cooker.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika (if using), and dried thyme.
- Pour in the chicken broth, making sure everything is lightly covered.
- Cover your slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until potatoes are tender and flavors meld beautifully.
- After cooking, give everything a good stir. Taste your dish; adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper as needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
