Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles
- 1 ½ cups prepared queso dip
- ½ cup chicken broth (optional)
- Tortillas (flour or corn)
- Shredded lettuce
- Avocado
- Salsa
- Cilantro
- Sour cream
- Pickled onions
Instructions
- Layer chicken in the slow cooker and sprinkle taco seasoning on top.
- Pour diced tomatoes (with juices) over the chicken.
- Add queso dip evenly across the top; add chicken broth if desired.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using forks and stir to coat in queso.
- Warm tortillas and fill them with the shredded mixture; add preferred toppings.
