- 5 cups fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a deep dish pie plate.
- In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries with orange juice and granulated sugar; toss gently.
- In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Layer the strawberry mixture in the baking dish and top with the oat crumble evenly.
- Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with ice cream if desired.
