- 4 cups fresh strawberries (washed, hulled, and quartered)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
- Whipped cream (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bake the pie crust according to package instructions until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- Arrange fresh strawberries evenly in the cooled pie crust.
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, and corn starch. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
- Add the strawberry jello mix, reduce heat to medium, and simmer while whisking for about 1 minute.
- Pour the jello mixture slowly over the strawberries without submerging them completely.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set. Serve with whipped cream.
