- 1 cup salted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups freeze-dried strawberries (pulverized)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (start with 1 tablespoon)
- 1 tablespoon freeze-dried strawberries (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Pulse freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until powdered.
- In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and most of the strawberry powder; mix well.
- Gradually incorporate flour until a soft dough forms.
- Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface and cut shapes using cookie cutters.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown, then cool on wire racks.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with milk and reserved strawberry powder until smooth; drizzle over cooled cookies.
