Ingredients
- ¾ cup tahini
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2½ – 3 cups crispy brown rice cereal
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil (for topping)
- 1 heaping cup pretzel twists (slightly broken)
- Fancy sea salt (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium pot, combine tahini, maple syrup, coconut oil, and salt over medium-low heat until warm and smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract and gradually add the brown rice cereal until fully coated. Press into the prepared pan firmly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in intervals until smooth.
- Pour melted chocolate over the base and spread evenly; top with pretzel pieces and sesame seeds.
- Chill in the fridge for at least one hour before cutting into bars.
