  • 250 ml (1 cup) off-the-boil water
  • 250 ml (1 cup) coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk

  1. Boil water and let it cool for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Place espresso coffee powder in a French press and pour in the prepared water.
  3. Steep for 5 minutes, then press down the plunger slowly to separate grounds.
  4. Pour brewed coffee into a jug and chill in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  5. Whisk together chilled coffee, coconut milk, and condensed milk until well combined. Serve over ice.
  6. For garnishing, dip glass rims in condensed milk and then into toasted coconut if desired.
