  • 2 cups unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • Extra caramel for dripping apple slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, vegetable oil, and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add applesauce, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk; mix well.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture gently until just incorporated.

  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan; bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
