Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 6 slices cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; mix until combined.
- Fold in shredded Swiss cheese and crumbled turkey bacon until evenly distributed.
- Transfer mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar; spread over the meatloaf.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
