Ingredients
- 1 white cake mix
- 1 box (3.3 oz) strawberry or cherry Jell-O
- 1 box (3.3 oz) blueberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water (divided)
- 1 cup cold water (divided)
- 8 oz whipped cream
Instructions
- Prepare the white cake mix according to package directions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan. Allow it to cool for about one hour.
- Once cooled, poke holes in the cake at one-inch intervals using the end of a knife or wooden spoon.
- Prepare each flavor of Jell-O separately by mixing one cup boiling water with half a cup cold water per flavor. Pour each mixture into tall glasses.
- Using a straw, fill the holes in the cake alternately with red and blue Jell-O until all holes are filled.
- Chill in the refrigerator for three to four hours until set. Top with whipped cream before serving.
