- 1 package Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough (16.5 ounces)
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 pound fresh Strawberries (washed, hulled, and quartered)
- 1 pint fresh Blueberries (washed and dried)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with non-stick spray.
- Slice sugar cookie dough into 1/4 inch pieces and arrange them on the baking sheet in a rectangular shape, pressing edges together.
- Bake for 11-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown; allow to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Spread frosting evenly over cooled cookie base.
- Create a blue square with blueberries in one corner for stars; use quartered strawberries to form red stripes across the top.
- Pipe Cool Whip along the edges for decorative flair.
- Chill before serving to enhance flavors.
