Instructions
- Cut 1 pound of chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- Whisk together 1 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup honey, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 teaspoon grated ginger in a mixing bowl to create the teriyaki sauce.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the chicken, cooking until browned.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and stir to coat evenly.
- Mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water to create a slurry; add it to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
- Serve the chicken teriyaki over cooked white rice, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
