  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)
  • Chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, tomato paste, olive oil, garlic, ginger, and spices; whisk until well blended.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade; stir to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 1–4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat; lightly oil grates.
  4. Thread marinated chicken and onion pieces onto metal skewers.
  5. Grill skewers for about 22–25 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
