- 8 buttery croissants
- 8 slices of chicken
- 60g flour
- 500ml semi-skimmed milk
- 50g butter
- 250g grated Emmental cheese
- Salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour until it forms a paste.
- Gradually whisk in the milk until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Slice each croissant in half and fill with chicken slices. Pour sauce over the chicken and top with Emmental cheese.
- Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for about 24 minutes or until golden brown.
