- 1 stick unsalted butter

- 2–4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (for frosting)
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
- 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch baking dish.
- Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Spread the batter in the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before preparing frosting.
- Mix instant coffee granules with heavy cream; set aside.
- Beat unsalted butter until fluffy; gradually add powdered sugar until smooth.
- Incorporate the coffee cream mixture into the frosting; frost cooled brownies generously.
