Ingredients
- 1 block (225g) extra firm tofu
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Cajun spice
- Juice of 1 blood orange
- 1 tsp smoked garlic granules
Instructions
- Cut the tofu into 12 square pieces and press to remove excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the juice of the blood orange, maple syrup, soy sauce, Cajun spice, and smoked garlic granules to create the marinade.
- Place the tofu pieces in the marinade and refrigerate for at least two hours.
- Soak wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes before grilling.
- Preheat a griddle pan over medium heat with a small amount of oil. Thread four marinated tofu pieces onto each skewer.
- Cook skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and sticky.
