- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- Zest of 1 large lemon
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fruit juice (for flavor)
- 3/4 cup cool water
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar, 1/4 cup water, and lemon zest. Simmer while stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled syrup with lemon juice, fruit juice, and remaining cool water. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds. Insert sticks if needed and freeze until firm (approximately 4-6 hours).
