- 15 oz white cake mix
- 3.4 oz instant pudding mix (vanilla or cheesecake flavor)
- 4 large egg whites
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 8 oz lemon-lime soda (like Sprite)
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar (for icing)
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease a 10-cup Bundt pan.
- In a bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, and egg whites. Mix in the vegetable oil until well blended.
- Gradually add the lemon-lime soda to the mixture until smooth.
- Divide the batter into three bowls; color one red, one blue, and leave one plain.
- Alternate scoops of each colored batter in the Bundt pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for about 20 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- For icing, whisk together powdered sugar and additional soda until smooth and drizzle over cooled cake. Top with sprinkles.
