Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and rose extract; mix until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips evenly.
- Drop dough balls onto prepared sheets using a cookie scoop, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown at the edges.
- Press mini chocolate roses into warm cookies before transferring them to cool on a wire rack.
