- ½ cup fresh strawberries (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon strawberry jam (for glaze)
- 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and grease your doughnut pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and strawberry jam until smooth.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and gently fold in diced strawberries.
- Fill doughnut pans about ¾ full and bake for 7 to 9 minutes until golden.
- Let cool on a wire rack before glazing.
