Ingredients
- 3/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 4 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic (peeled and rough chopped)
- 2 lbs flank steak (or chicken/turkey)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, orange juice, lime juice, brown sugar, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of the marinade for later use. Marinate the flank steak in the remaining mixture inside zip-lock bags for at least two hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to 500°F (reduce to 400°F after placing the meat).
- Grill the marinated steak for about 5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Let the cooked steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with grilled vegetables and reserved marinade.
