Ingredients
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic (minced)
- 1 ¾ cups whole white mushrooms (washed and dried)
- ¼ cup cream cheese (cut into small cubes)
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp dry ground oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter with olive oil. Add minced garlic and whole white mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are tender (about 5 minutes).
- Reduce heat to medium and stir in cream cheese cubes until melted.
- Lower heat to medium-low; add Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes while stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
